Rule 8
Method of opening an account

(1) When opening an account, a person who can read and write should write a sample of his signature on the form prescribed by the bank, and a person who cannot read and write should put his thumb impression on the form prescribed by the bank when opening the account, and any other account holder or any employee of the post office. Support should be submitted to the postmaster.
(2) The account holder can request up to two persons to withdraw the amount due to him after opening the account.
(3) When opening a joint account, the account can be opened by the joint signature of all the account holders or by the signature of one of the account holders.
(4) In case of death of one account holder, the surviving account holder can open a joint account on the condition that he can withdraw all the amount of the account. If they are changed, written information should be given to the respective post office immediately and also a sample of the signature of the new official authorized to operate the account should also be sent to the post office.
